Calculate Your Due Date
How the Due Date is Calculated
Our calculator uses Naegele's rule, the standard method used by healthcare providers. It adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period, then adjusts for your cycle length. This is an estimate; only about 4% of babies are born exactly on their due date.
Trimester dates are calculated as follows: first trimester lasts until 13 weeks and 6 days, second trimester until 27 weeks and 6 days, and third trimester until delivery.
